    Dr. Metri [BAMS (Ayurveda), MD (Yoga), and PhD (Yoga)] is an Ayurveda physician and a Yoga therapy consultant. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Yoga science, at the Central University of Rajasthan, India. He is an eminent researcher in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda. Dr. Kashinath’s contribution to the field of yoga therapy research is remarkable, his research work is predominantly on the clinical population, and on the application of yoga therapy in major health challenges like cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, and mental health issues.

    Dr. Munjal is Ph.D, MSc in (Speech Hearing) from PGIMER and presently works as Additional Professor and In-charge, Speech and Hearing Unit, Department of Otolaryngology, PGIMER, Chandigarh. His main focus area are auditory electrophysiology, cochlear implants, tinnitus, auditory dys-synchrony, cleft palateand he specializes in audiology and speech language pathology. He has been awarded with Muktesh’s Award-Best paper in Speech Pathology, ISHACON; Dayalan Samuel’s SSV Award-Best paper in Audiology, ISHACON, 1996; Dr. N.R. Chaudhary Memorial Award-Best paper in Audiology, ISHACON, 2010; Dayalan Samuel SSV Award for best paper in Audiology. With an experience of 21 years of post MD teaching and research experience, with keen interest in pain management, pain education & pain research and policy creation, she has special interest in the management of Chronic Pain with main focus on comprehensive pain management of the low back pain. Dr. Ghai has made significant contributionsin pain education and management field at international, South-East Asian, Asian, National,Institutional, undergraduate, postgraduate, nursing and community levels. She has been instrumental in establishing the pain clinic at her institute.

He was a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Ecole Poly-technique, Montreal and also postdoctoral fellow at Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Stony Brook University, New York, USA. His interests include biomedical imaging, Nano-medicine, tissue engineering, and integrative medicine.

    Dr. Rao PhD, BNYS from Mangalore University presently works as Director, Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. He has completed several research projects in the field of rheumatoid arthritis, pre-diabetes, diabetes, and CVD risk prevention using both yoga and naturopathy interventions at well-known Institutions. He is a member of the AYUSH research Portal, Govt of India, Hi has won several awards such as Sushila Thakur Prakriti Mandir prize in 2001 by APPICON and Manonmani Rudraiah award. He also won the ASCO Conquer cancer foundationmerit award in 2013 by American Society of Clinical Oncology.

He is Life-Member of Cardiological Society of India and member of API. He specializes inpreventive cardiology, echocardiography and complex coronaryinterventions. His areas of interest arepercutaneous coronary intervention including complex cases and CTO’s, permanent pacemaker and AICD implantation, and Echocardiography: adult and congenital.

    Dr. Tyagi had his graduate degree in the neurogenesis and cognitive neuroscience discipline. He has a strong inclination towards integrative health care, especially Yoga and its effect in the life style disorders. His ongoing post-doctoral research involves identification of novel genetic and epigentic targets causing primary immune deficiency, specifically common variable immune deficiency. He is largely interested in curation of genetic, epigenetic disorders based on curation strategies including geome editing, gene replacement as well as by ayurgenomic and integrative system based approaches. He is interested in conducting the research in quality defined set up which he inherited from his thesis environment. He is also a proponent of policy changes towards establishing integrative and traditional knowledge to treat modern health concerns.

He presently works as Director of Centre for Yoga Therapy Education and Research (CYTER), and Professor of yogatherapy at the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry. He is an Honorary International Advisor to the International Association of Yoga Therapists, the Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists, The World Yoga Foundation and Gitananda Yoga Associations, worldwide. He is currently member of numerous expert committees of the Ministry of AYUSH. He is Consultant Resource Person for the WHO Collaborative Centre in Traditional Medicine (Yoga) at MDNIY, New Delhi.

    Dr.Mehta has been a student of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar as well as Smt. Geeta and Shri Prashant Iyengar since the 1970s; she regularly teaches public classes at IyengarYogashraya, Mumbai and has taught yoga in over 15 countries. Her research work on Iyengar Yoga in patients with parkinson’s disease has been awarded at the International Neuro science conferences; She is an editor of the journal Yoga rahasya with subscribers in 45 countries and has also edited Guruji BKS Iyengar’s book: Yoga for Sports. She is an advisor to the Ministry of AYUSH on various projects. A reproductive biologist by profession, she is advisor to Cooper Surgicals, India and Trivector Biomed, Mumbai. She has written chapters for many books on infertility and human IVF and is also an invited speaker in many national and international conferences including the ESHRE. She heads the SIG on holistic medicine for the Indian Fertility Society.
